Return of Shark Machine

Yeah I know this is a christmas game

The game's concept came about when I was playing with a Random Video Game Name Generator at around 2:30 AM. It landed on "Return of Shark Machine" and I thought about how corny a game called "Return of Shark Machine" would be. I sent it to my homie who told me to put the title through WOMBO Dream, an AI program that generates art from a word prompt. The app has different art styles, and with it being December 10th, I chose "Festive."

It generated a really cool image.

At this point it was about 2:45 and I wanted to make this game, the only problem is, I have no idea where to start with Game Development, so I fired up my old friend from year 7, Scratch.

By about 3:30 AM, I realised I should sleep and decided to finish (and soundtrack) the game in the morning.

4 Hours Later, I woke up and fixed some of the bugs. I made a beat that interpolated Paul McCartney's Christmas Classic Wonderful Christmastime and released the game to the world.
